People finish training they understand. When the navigation and prompts are in someone's own language, they don't get stuck on how to move through the course, and they don't drop off because the experience feels foreign to them. That matters most for frontline and global teams, where English isn't always the first language on the floor. Setting the interface to their language is a small change that makes the whole course feel like it was built for them.
The interface language sets the words 7taps adds around your course, like navigation buttons, progress prompts, and system messages. It does not change the content you wrote. Your cards stay in the language you created them in.
Where to find it
Open your course and click Share.
Open Sharing settings (the gear icon).
Find Interface language for learners and click Change language.
Pick a language from the list. It applies to that course.
What it changes
The navigation and system text learners see while taking the course, such as buttons and prompts.
What it does not change
Your card text, images, audio, or video. The interface language and your course content are separate settings.
Course translation is a separate feature. The interface language controls the navigation your learners see — it doesn't change the content you wrote.
To deliver your course in another language, you can either build a version in that language from scratch, or translate an existing course automatically. To translate: open the course options menu, select Translate, choose your target languages, and click Copy & translate. 7taps creates a folder with copies of your course in each selected language. Translation is AI-powered and available on Starter and Enterprise plans.
Note on Hebrew: Translating a course to Hebrew automatically applies RTL layout to that version. The learner interface does not support Hebrew — it stays in English, the same as Arabic.
