What Happens After Your Trial Ends
When your free trial expires, your account automatically reverts to the Free Edition with significant limitations:

Your account automatically converts to the Free Edition. You'll keep access to 7taps with these changes:
You can maintain 2 actively shared courses (archive others to keep creating new ones)
Your existing courses remain accessible - nothing gets deleted
Learning Paths become view-only (you can see past data but can't launch new paths)
You lose access to premium features like custom domains and advanced analytics
Q: Do I need to enter credit card information to start the trial?
No. The free trial requires no payment information. You can explore all Pro features risk-free for 14 days.
Q: Can I extend my trial if I need more time to evaluate?
Contact our team at help@7taps.com if you need additional time to properly evaluate 7taps for your organization. We're happy to discuss options.
Q: What happens to my learners' data when the trial ends?
All learner data is preserved:
Completion records remain accessible
Analytics history is retained
Learning Path data is retained
Q: Can I upgrade before my trial ends?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time during your trial. Your subscription will start immediately.
Q: If I downgrade to Free Edition, can I upgrade later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade from Free Edition to Pro whenever you're ready. All your archived content and historical data will still be there.
Q: How will I know when my trial is ending?
You'll receive email notifications as your trial end date approaches, giving you time to decide whether to upgrade to Pro or continue with the Free Edition.
Q: Can I cancel my account during the trial?
You don't need to "cancel" - if you simply let the trial expire without upgrading, you'll automatically move to the Free Edition. If you want to fully delete your account, contact help@7taps.com.
Q: Can I export courses during my trial?"
Yes! Click Share → Export to download courses as PDF for review or SCORM packages for LMS integration. On Free Edition, export options are not available.
Q: Can I add more team members during the trial?
Yes - You can invite up to 10 collaborators total during your trial period through the "My Team" section.
Q: How long does the trial last?
Trial duration is 14 days. Check your account dashboard or contact support for your specific trial end date.
