Analytics in 7taps helps you evaluate the effectiveness of your microlearning training by gaining insight into detailed learner performance.
💡If you share your content via email, SMS, Slack, or MS Teams - Analytics will contain data about individual learners. If you share content via a link, Iframe, xAPI, SCORM or QR code - learners will be displayed as anonymous.
Where to find analytics
Course Analytics shows how a single course performed: open rate, completion rate, individual scores, and every response submitted on interactive cards — with timestamps. Access it from the dashboard or any course's menu.
Learning Path Analytics shows delivery status and completion data across a full course sequence. You can see which courses have been sent, who received them, and where each person is in the path. Access it from the Learning Paths dashboard or any Learning Path's menu.
Learner Management shows progress, quiz scores, time in learning, and last activity for every person in your program, aggregated across all their assigned courses and Learning Paths. Access it from Learners in the top navigation.
1. Course Analytics
Dive into the Analytics of a course from the main Dashboard or the course's menu.
Read Analytics
Analytics contains three tabs:
Highlights - quick overview of the course data and learner performance.
Learners - detailed learner performance related to the course
Responses - data (answers) collected in the course grouped by learners or card types.
Highlights
General
This tab contains an overview of your course data:
the number of cards
course creation data
course sharing date
total number of learners the course was shared with
Opening
This tab contains information related to the opening of your course:
open rate, %
total number of learners who opened the course
types of devices the content was open on (7taps Enterprise✨)
number of learners that did not open the course
Completion
This tab contains information related to the completion of your course:
completion rate, %
total number of learners who completed the course
median completion time (7taps Enterprise ✨)
number of learners that opened but did not complete the course
number of learners that did not open and did not complete the course
Insights (7taps Enterprise✨)
This tab contains information that can help you define top performers, learners who scored less than 70% in assignments, and learners that completed the course suspiciously fast.
This data help you identify leaders and learners needing assistance or additional learning materials to perform better.
Note: The default threshold for course completion is 70%, but we can tweak that number for you. Just email us at support@7taps.com
Activity (7taps Enterprise✨)
This graph shows how learners interact with your content over time. The blue line shows the number of learners who opened the course, and the green line shows the number of learners who completed the course.
The graph is displayed in Analytics 24 hours after the sharing of the course.
Learners
This page displays individual performance related to the course. You can see how each of your learners interacted with the course. The table shows:
course status (completed, opened not)
time spent on the course completion (7taps Enterprise ✨)
quiz score
last activity in the course
You can filter the data by suggested highlights or the sharing channel.
All the results can be downloaded in PDF or .csv
💡To see learner responses to all the assignments in a course - mouse over the last activity of that learner.
Responses
This page displays learner responses to forms, quizzes, rate cards, checklists and polls. Each response records the exact date it was submitted, visible next to the learner's name. Timestamps are included in CSV and PDF exports — useful for compliance audits, progress reviews, and any reporting that needs a precise activity trail.

2. Learning Path Analytics
Access Analytics from of any learning path from the Learning Paths dashboard or any path's menu.
Analytics has three tabs: Highlights, Learners, and Courses.
Highlights contain the path summary: status, delivery method, launch date, total learners enrolled, and how many courses are in the path.
Learner Activity shows how the cohort is moving through the path: how many are in progress, progressing as expected, falling behind or skipping, or not yet started — plus the average number of courses completed so far.
Learning Outcomes shows results: how many fully completed all courses, average days to complete, average active learning time, and average quiz score.
Three charts below give a per-course breakdown:
Learner Progress Across Courses — a stacked view showing not started, in progress, and completed for each course.
Course Drop-off — flags courses where completion falls below the drop-off threshold. Courses shown in orange need attention.
Average Quiz Scores — flags courses where average scores fall below the score threshold.
Learners
The Learners tab shows each enrolled person's status in the path, time spent, average score across all courses, and last activity date. Use Quick filter to narrow by status or Download to export the data.
3. Analytics in Learner Management
Go to Learners in the top navigation to see how everyone is progressing — across all courses and Learning Paths at once.
The status cards at the top give an instant read on your full population: Completed & Passed, On track, Behind schedule, Below passing, Inactive, and No assignments. Each card is clickable and filters the table.
The table shows per person: how many Learning Paths they're enrolled in, overall progress across assigned courses, quiz score, time in learning, and last active date.
Use the Groups, Progress, and Quiz score filters to cut the data as needed.
People who received a course via direct sharing but were never explicitly added as learners are visible here too. Find them under Groups → Without profile.
To export: click Export CSV → Analytics report for a full download of progress, scores, and activity — for all learners, a filtered view, or a selection. For contact details only, use Learner data instead.
