7taps remembers quiz responses based on how learners access your courses. Here's how it works:
For personalized links (email, slack, MSTeams, SMS, WhatsApp): Quiz answers are saved per learner link.
For static links (QR codes, website links): Quiz answers are saved per device/browser.
If you see a quiz already answered when viewing your course, it's likely because:
You've previously taken the quiz on the same device/browser
You've previously taken the course using a personalized link
First-time learners accessing your course will always see unanswered quizzes. This behavior is consistent across all sharing methods (link, QR code, email, SMS, iframe, Slack, MS Teams).
Not convinced? Try opening your course in Incognito mode or on a device that hasn't accessed 7taps before. The quiz should appear unanswered.
Reset a quiz
If you need to share a course with learners who have previously completed it, you can reset the quizzes:
Go to Settings in your 7taps course
Click "Reset Quiz" to clear all learner scores for every quiz in the course
You can also reset individual quizzes by accessing the quiz card menu.
